Is there such a thing as a "quality" scented car air freshener?

I'm just wondering. I just replaced my cabin air filter, but will forever wonder if the arrow should point up or down. Seems to be a 50/50 split on the forum, haha. But I'll try not to resurrect the debate.

Anyway - It was about 175 degrees yesterday, and it rained overnight. This morning when it got into my car, it was like a sauna. I turned the car on and was greeted with a kind of hot swampy breeze for a few seconds.

It got me wondering, besides the cabin air filter, is anyone here actually using a scent in their car?

I'm not necessarily looking to hang a Christmas-tree shaped air freshener from the rear-view mirror. Just wondering if there is a good option out there that I've never heard of to keep the car smelling "new."

Thanks!

later.

Wow Sprockethead, you've REALLY digressed here. Have you truly run out of better things to make threads about?
