iv seen 300+whp on many 350z HRs and 07+ G35 sedans with a simple exhaust and good tune at low elevations but at 5000ft it seems difficult to get 300whp cause theoretically you would need to be putting down ~330ish whp on lower altitudes to be equal to 300whp at such high altitude as yours...

Obviously nothing is impossible but i really doubt you seeing over 270-280whp up there even with an aggressive tune, but then the type of dyno would be a factor too since dynapack has on average shown 10-12% higher numbers than the mustang dynos (google dynapack vs mustang dyno) then the weather conditions are a factor as well.

Hope that makes sense, just keep us posted.

What do you feel the results should be?
Forced Induction is a whole different beast.... you can't compare a Subaru tune to a NA G. Since they have a Dynojet the max I've seen is ~20 whp above the baseline but those are on inflated dynos stating the car has +320 whp when done (no it doesn't!)

That's at the crank, not the wheels. Jared at UpRev said (mostly performance part makers) will dyno a car (with their upgrade) running too lean, to make the gains look better than they are. Once you balance up the AF ratio, the gains don't look so good. Running like that will be bad news for your motor, but hey the part maker got real dyno sheets to prove the product right?

I really don't know what to expect out of this Osiris tune, with my mods and elevation? Where can I find those Dyno sheets rvanderwerf?

The guy that told me that, was making a general comment, about dyno sheets part makers post saying (intake adds 15+HP!!) etc. Don't have any actual sheets, sorrry!

I'm going to uprev and get a baseline before I add my RTP's. Then when I do get a tune, I can find the difference between total stock, RTPs no tune, and RTP's with tune. Uprev told me there isn't much gains they can get without any mods on the HR motor though, as the intake + exhaust are really pretty good.

I'm well aware of the difference between FI and N/A. My last car was a B5 S4 with EPL tune and Tials. I don't recall comparing the osris tune to a Subaru tune?

in other words tpc303, being the best at tuning subarus means nothing for tuning G's because we are NA, they are FI. the question would be how good are they at tuning NA vehicles

It's actually even worse than that kool, figuring 3% per 1000 for an NA motor, at 5500 feet elevation he's looking at nearly a 50 hp loss, so he'd have to be making an equivalent of 350 whp at sea level to net out at 300 up there. I've seen lots of crazy numbers games played on dynos before, but there is no way in hell this tuner is going to make a legitimate equivalent 350whp for him. I absolutely wish him the very best gains possible, but IMHO, he'll be lucky to make 260 whp up there.

260 will be acceptable for sure, that's a 10% gain in whp. I am guessing 250 hp and 205 tq? Tuesday is too far away!!
