Have my dyno sheet for baseline run!

I have added a custom catback today and wanted to see my #'s. I live at 5500 ft elevation so.... That should make about a 15-19% diff. from sea level? Any way I know I need a tune. That is evident. The question is, can I get a tune for less that 1k. The shop I had the dyno done at said It would be 1k for the Osiris tune. Sorry the pic was taken on my phone of the Dyno.

1k? thats nuts. Uprev here in austin I believe charges 300 for the license, and 125/hr for the tune, about 2 hours worth, plus 200 if you want the usb cable to flash it yourself (or put stock ecu back on to take to dealer, not required tho). I would email them and see if there is another tuner in your area (or check the site), 1k is way high IMO. He must be counting 300 for extra profit

That car definitively needs some tuning. The early rpm range can use some modification, you can definitively get more grunt out of the engine.

With a tune I can see you breaking 250's and adding muchhhhhh more torque.

Once I decide on test pipes or not, the Uprev tune around here is $600. You can definitely get tuned for less than 1k

MAC charges 700 for the uprev tune with dyne tune. That's why I stay away from Trenz.

Im there tpc303. I tried calling them 4 times and I left a message. No reply so I went to trenz.... 1k I figured was a joke. 700 I will spend to get my car running ****!!! That is what I spent on the exhaust and intake so I might as well put it into the Brain as well eh.

That looks nice!! I know MAC is closed on Sunday on Monday, but they are usually good about call backs. I can't believe they are trying to charge 1000 I had my S4 tuned by EPL for cheaper then that and the guy flew out here.

I just got off the phone with MAC. Super helpful lady answered the phone and set my appointment. My car is an auto so it is gonna be a little more but still a couple hundred less than Motor trenz. I have something else to look forward to now!!!!

I work for Harley-Davidson and we tune bikes all the time. We use our pro tuner which is exactly like the osiris it sounds like. We also offer another product for motorcycles that is an "autotuner". It constantly is reading and learning the conditions to keep you air/fuel at the correct levels, therefore not needing an actual tune. Any body know of anything like that for our cars.

Assuming you are at altitude, you must be talking 'adjusted' whp there, right? I think that would be a bit overly optimistic for actual whp on that setup at 5000 ft.

I found an auto tune by Dynojet. It will be sick, when they get it for our cars!!! I now have my appointment set for the TUNE on tuesday with the OSIRIS. I have been contemplating doing the tune or not. Is 800 dollars worth the gains I will get? Am I just dumping my extra $$$ into the car when I could just take off my mods and hope to get back where I was (hp and tq wise)? Condsidering I lost to my identical twin the other night!! Should I just buy wheels instead? But I figure this is the best thing for my cars health and will be impressive once completed. Thats what matters. Although some Varrstoens would be sick!!!!

No I'm not talking about "adjusted". I'm no tuner so I'll to wait and see. They are one of the best Subaru tuners in the state and they seem confident they can get that kind of power to the wheels without blowing the engine.

What do you feel the results should be?
