bc coilover question

bc coilover question

Can someone help me out.. I recently had my coilovers installed and it seems like the shop didnt do it right..
When i jack up the rear of the car on any one side the entire spring is loose in the bucket.. is the supposed to happen? And i also noticed that the adjuster on the spring is is so loose that i can turn it by hand..

That's not right at all. I can lift all four corners and there's nothing loose. Do you have a picture of how it looks right now? (the co's, that is)

i dont at the moment but if i should jack the car up i can totally move the entire spring around..i keep telling them and they dont seem to understand..

i tried calling bc for explanation but i cant get hold of anyone..im going by the repair shop in a minute but i need some prove to show these guys that its not installed properly..do u think its because they havent set pre load or something else??

The pre-load is the first thing that came to mind, but even then it shouldn't move around like that (as much as i gather from your post). It could be possible that they also didn't mount the spring/mount properly on the bucket.

it looks the same way on the diy with the adjuster on the top but its loose as hell in there.

If the shop cant fix it, try talking to him, he does alot of suspension work
