Harshness when turning engine off

Starts up fine, idles fine, power delivery seems ok (only have had the car for two weeks and haven't driven another one before, so I don't have a point of reference), but when I turn the engine off it stutters and shakes for a couple seconds. Not excessive but seems harsher than it should be.

Normal? Car has 60k km on it (about 35-40k miles)

Yup 6MT.

Seems odd that the tranny would cause that. Feels more like an engine stutter, like when it stalls out...

Keep clutch in when shutting down then take foot off clutch and you should have no problems... i do that regardless since i leave car in gear

Had to think about that for a second but this is what I do already since I leave it in gear too.

I'm still not convinced it's the transmission...
