Trying to play videos on my nav screen from iphone

Well i bought the cable...ipod connect tor the red/white/yellow. I was hoping to view videos when the car was parked but its not working. Iphone says that tv is connected and view show on there. I have audio but no video. Am i missing something or can i even do it?

Mine don't work but i have heard that you have to put the E break down.

Yeap, engage e-break and it will work or the cables must be wrong.

Got it. Didn't know it needed emergency break. Thanks. If i keep my car i am going to try and bypass it.

^ I'm not positive but I don't think the 08's play DVD's Janik. Just the 10-11's
edit: unless you are using an external DVD player...that should work and is probably what you meant.

if it has the 3 AUX holes, red, yellow, white .... it should ..

Bypass or module is the answer...For the non bypasses foot brake down or hand brake up.

Only way you could run a DVD player is to have an external one and run a composite cable through it
