So I picked up a used sport bumper off of ebay per listed in another thread and had it painted. Decided what the heck and did a sport lip while I was at it. Painter did an awesome job on the bumper as it was beat up a bit. Also added leds to my fogs and took a change on some bumper leds. At first I wasn't sure if I was gonna like it but I took a chance and and installed these leds on the bumper. I also wired them into my parking lights for now. Maybe I'll do a switch for them later. Install on all of this was somewhat a pain in the *** but I hate paying someone for something that I can do myself. I like the way everything turned out. I know some people on here might not like the bumper lights but I think it doesnt look too bad. Doing an oem back up camera with pac nis2 too. just waiting for the right moment to install it. Comments welcome.

 

Car is looking nice! but i think you should have installed the leds upside down so that they went with the curve of the side vents and that would make it look better imo.

But if youre happy then its all good!

LEDs are play out. So many cars coming Factory like that. Only LEDs I like are OEM Audi's LEDs!

 

Dont waste your time finding a used one if you have to repaint it. Its alot cheaper just to buy a new one at 10percent over cost and have it painted. I learned the hard way and I hate overpaying for stuff. Always get your oem parts at 10percent over cost. Anyone can do it at their local dealership.

 

Dealer quoted me $300 after taxes! Plus painting I am looking at $500

 

You should be able to get the bumper a little cheaper but not by much. Also if you can get it all done for under 500.00 Thats a really good deal. Especially since they have to do a 3 stage paint if its pearl. Good luck.

 

You can definitely get it slightly cheaper than that Sal, i got mine from Infinitipartsusa.com a while back. Had it painted locally.

 

love the leds man alot of people hat on them i got a pair on mine also if u dont mind ill post a pic..car is looking goood...
