Next time man just get your own quotes from independent body shop and submit that to the insurance. Ask them to simply cut you a check and you will take it to a body shop of your own choice. Order the parts that you need and then find a good body shop to install it and paint it for you. Make sure you do research on there work load to estimate how long it will take. A shop will lie to you just to get you to come and drop of your car and than take their sweet time finishing it since you are too far invested.

 

Thanks for the support, guys. I really do appreciate it. Without going into too many details, but if any of you ever heard the phrase "Dark cloud over one's head", i've had a nasty storm on top of that these past several weeks.

If it tells you anything, i've never been in a car accident which i caused in my two decades of driving. The one time my guard finally went down, bam, i get into one. When it rains, it certainly pours.

I'll talk to the shop folks this weekend, but i won't fight it.
