Trasmission problem with uprev tune?

Hi Guys

Got this weird transmission problem that just started today. Never felt anything like it before.

Alright before I describe the problem let me list the mods

2008 G35 RWD Sedan Journey Auto
Currently 55k miles

Injen CAI
Berks HFC
Stillen CBE
Stillen Tranmission cooler
Stillen Cross Drilled Rotors
Oz 18inch Ultraleggra with S-drive Tires/Yakohama
Uprev Dyno Tune
270 whp

Uprev Tune and mods were put on @ 45k miles

So after the tune the car drives/shifts normally. Of course with the tune the car is faster. But today I am driving normally and suddenly the car would jerk back and forth while the auto tranmission was shifting in normal auto mode. Go about another 5 feet and do it again. The car did this 3 times and then drove normally. Now I was at a stop light and accerlating normally when this happened. This has never ever happened before so I don’t know what is going on. The car is perfectly maintained and serviced regularly at the dealership. They know about my uprev tune/mods and are fine with it. The car hasn’t done this again today and it drove perfectly normal until I got to work (6 miles away). Now there's no loud noises when this is happened, just the jerk back and forth. I have no idea what this is? Any ideas?

-Thanks again

Search on here and you will find a thread by a member from a while back who had similar issues and it turned out to be an issue with his BERK cats. (cant remember his name but search for HFC problems or something)

Next check your battery and alternator with a volt meter. Then also check the connections on the tranny cooler and make sure the tranny level is correct, also make sure you added Matic-S ATF when you put in the cooler.

I would highly doubt that the tune would cause such problems out of a sudden since many members here are running the tune.

Yeah I doubt that it was the tune. I mean the auto tranmission in our cars are pretty good. I'll give the Berks HFCs a check. I'll look into the tranmission cooler. It was recommended by the shop that worked on my car (J-Tune Performance in Delaware). Thanks for the advice.

I'll drive it around tonight and see if it happens again. Thanks again for taking the time to post a reply
