Engine Cover Mt Fujiless

Popped my hood last week to discover the Mt Fuji emblem on my engine cover had disappeared. It ended up wedging itself in front of the motor above the serpentine belt thankfully. I'm sure I could have glued it back on but it was all scratched up so I just figured I'd just replace it with an AIT carbon fiber one instead. I'm not a big carbon fiber guy but I chose it because it's nice and simple/plain. It was also only ~$40 more than used OEM ones on ebay.

OEM Cover

AIT cover installed

Overall I'm happy with the way things turned out. I think I'm going to wrap my Gen 3 pipes in exhaust/header wrap soon as well.

First off that cover looks great in your engine bay, but man you lost your $10 emblem so you bought whole cover! I wish i could do the same but the pockets a bit tight right now after getting the pipes

Yea Kool, the emblem falling off was more of an excuse than anything to get this..... the mod bug has bitten pretty hard as we all know.

As far as the dyno goes you were the first person to post on that thread. =)

When my tires wore out, I used that as an excuse to buy new wheels.

2nd option is, that you can paint them or color match the car. That is what i did.
