Roof spoiler attachment

just received my spoiler. Not sure i trust the 3m tape. thought i read of another way to attach it but cant find it.

help

its been discussed here a lot, some get away with just 3M if its 3M VHB then thats all you need cause that is even used in construction projects and bonds VERY well, if it some regular strength 3M then using windshield silicone from your local auto store should do the trick.

When i had mine i prepped the window by cleaning it with a little rubbing alcohol, then dry the whole surface, and then used 3m adhesive promoter from pepboys. Stayed down really well. Also, deffinitely helps if it is warm out and the window is warm, or you can do what i did and use a blow dryer to heat it up before putting down the spoiler.
