Yeah it literally looks corroded away. I can take a picture. When I bought the car that section of the "fourth" pedal had some gooey crap on it, and I scrubbed it off with some kind of cleaner. That must have done it. Any idea if I can buy just that one pedal thingy? I'm sure I'll have to buy the whole set. Guess I can't complain, I got a new steering wheel and door trim lol. Wish I can swap out a 3 series interior.
