Aluminum Pedals

I've purchased Aluminum pedals for my '07 G35x AT Sedan. The only DIY thread I can find is from 2003 and so it is not helpful for me and my car. Any help or direction anyone can provide is very helpful.

Thanks

Those appear to just screw into the existing pedal with a nut/bolt. You probably have to remove the rubber, then mark and drill, then secure.

^ Yup, remove the rubber, drill a hole, and screw the pedals ON TOP of the existing pedals. These aren't OEM, and the footrest won't work on the second generation.

Thanks for the info. I realize they are not OEM, but why do you think the foot rest won't fit?

I know since I once was interested in purchasing these and did some search I found that some users on this forum bought this and couldn't fit the foot rest in its position (unless you tear out the carpet and try to fit it in). If you look at the foot rest in our vehicle, it is clearly smaller than the one provided from this purchase

If you don't mind rocking sport type pedals w/out the infiniti logo, try looking for sport pedals made for other cars (that doesn't have the logo on pedals). I found some black aluminum pedals made for BMW that was the same size as our pedals, but didn't purchase since I was too lazy to drill a hole lol

I have a sport and the bottom section of the "fourth" pedal (far left to rest your foot) has been eaten away...appears to be a cheap plastic or super thin metal coating. Anyone else experience this? I'd like to replace it since I always notice it, but find it lame to spend money on such things. Any advice appreciated and no intention to jack the thread.
