G35x Snow Mode

I'm still kind of confused... if the ATESSA controls slippage by sending power from rear to front then what is the purpose of VDC? If VDC is off, it's easier to do a burn out using the 4 wheels?
And on a somewhat different note, can Snow Mode use as launch control? Does it make the car faster going 0-60?

i dont think it would be faster because if im not mistaken, it reduces power to the wheels in order to prevent the wheels from breaking loose in slippery conditions
as for doing an AWD burnout, even with VDC off, GOOD LUCK. lmao unless its in snow...
VDC just senses when the wheels slip and quickly cuts power to the wheels that slipped, but then gives them back power once they regain traction
