i just tinted my car at 50% (dont ask me why) and now am regretting it and want it a lot darker

Would u suggest 35's or 20's?

 

well, at least the cops won't harass you about it being to dark. But it would look better darker.

 

Yeah go atleast 35% for all four and get your rear 20%

 

I say 20% all around. You wont regret it. 35% is only a bit darker than 50%

 

50% is not that dark. I did my fronts 50% and my rears 15%. The 50% barely looks like there is any tint sometimes!

 

i live in Illinois up to 35 is legal

Not exactly the color you asked for but this is mine tinted at 4% all around. Its really not that bad for driving. Never been messed with.

Thanks. Depending on where you live going as dark as i did may not be a good idea, but i have never been bothered and stopped twice for speeding but never said anything bout the windows. Good luck let us know what you do.

 

35% here but when i get my tints ill be doing 35 upfront 20 for the rears

 

LP with 5% rear (limo) and 20% all around. Wincos Charcool.

 

35-50% looks very classy...15 and below just doesn't fit unless you have an all black car IMO

I don't know how you guys with dark tint get away with it..it took me 6 months to get 3 tickets with my GP

 

I had 35% on my 07X and went with 20% on my 11S. IMO they are so close that they can look the same under minor lighting differences and interior colour.

 

^WHS it's all about lighting. Sometimes 35 can look like limo tint when it's overcast. I have 35 and I feel it's a good mix between darkness and not getting harassed by the cops (where I live).
For reference, this is 35 under different lighting
