TSW wheels any good?

Fellow G Drivers,

I found a set of used 20" TSW donington wheels Gunmetal. $800 with tires. I have a LP Sedan. Im thinking of buying them and Powdercoating them gloss black. Need your input on the wheels, thanks!

Rick

I had two different sets of TSW's along time ago and had no issues with them. They Revo's I had were heavy but that was when it was all about the looks Structurally they were sound.

IMHO, you either go forged or go with whatever else. TSW wheels are fine. They have to pass European TUV standards etc.. but they typically aren't light. But if you're not concerend wth that, then they are good to go

Im rockin some TSW Caldwell's. They are slightly heavier than my 19 stock rays. Other than that, I haven't had any issues with them.

A 19x8 TSW Caldwell is about 24lbs. A 19x8 Rays Coupe 19s is about 19lbs. 5 lbs difference is huge in terms of wheel weight.

But alot of the weight lies in the tire choice also. I ran 350z track editions on Michelin pilot sports and THAT was a light combo. A Bridgestone RE050 in the same size would be 3-5 lbs heavier.
