I wouldn't know I have not used anything other than the 1080 but 1080 is textured.

is it easy to wrap? Can I wrap it without actually pulling the center consol out or the door sill out?

it would make it look a lot better and it would be a lot easier to wrap if you took everything apart.

Yeah you definitely have to take all the trim off if you want it to look good

Good work, always liked the look of the interior but I have to say the CF really adds a nice touch. Have some other DIY mods on my list before this one but I think I might try to tackle this one as well.

For those with wood trim I couldn't imagine doing this (the wood looks soo luxury!) but I never really liked the aluminum trim lol

Yeah that would be pretty cool looking if you do other cf pieces on the car

I don't think I'll be doing much CF other than the window trim maybe one day I'll do a nismo with a CF splitter & vents but not any time soon.

Hey I wanna see pictures in day light without the flash! Flash kinda takes away the true look how the pieces look!

I already ordered my 1080 CF 3M! gonna do the same thing, because I always wanted to just never had enough motivation lol.

This picture was my 1st motivation to do the CF interior.
I wonder if 3M 1080 has the same glossy finish as the pic above or little less? If not I might end up clear coating my CF pieces.

It's not that difficult to wrap the 3m stuff. It just takes A LOT of patience. I wrapped my trunk spoiler and shifter

The darker CF looks great. I want to try a non-CF color though, maybe piano black or a very dark grey.

This site is gonna be the end of my career with all the DIYs that I see and the days off work I will be taking to do them!

Anybody know of a write up on removing the steering wheel trim?? I'm so beyond tired of looking at the peeled paint and want to wrap that if/when I do the rest of the interior
