Completed my last big mod!

**Updated Pics**

So for a few weeks I have been working on a carputer setup for the car. Finally after everything came in and some parts got installed today its all up and running. Still need to work on the resoluton stuff, but it is working extremely well! Let me know what you guys think! Sorry ahead of time for the phone pics. I will get some nice ones done soon. Screen quality is much better than it looks.

Details on System:
Mac Mini (flame suit ready)
Running OSX and Windows 7
Carnetix 2140 power supply

Soon enough I'm going to put Orisis on it too so I can monitor the car too.

Bad Teacher

Still need to clean up a bit.

Where the mini will sit.

Ofcourse to match the car!

A couple more pics guys! Sorry they are grainy. My camera is starting to crap out. Time for a new one

Thanks everyone!! I got the Mini for free from my last job and it had been sitting and collecting dust. I ran into some video issues thats what took me so long too. HDMI to composite isnt so much fun to figure out! I love having it though! I can now browse the internet, play my music and movies, use GPS and soon I will be able to monitor the car with orisis!

Are you converting your signal to RCA. That probably kills the resolution and quality. Can you not work out a better connection or install a LCD that has HDMI in or VGA. I guess you are stuck since the screen is integrated to the AC, Radio and more.

Yeah had to get it converted to RCA. Honestly its not that bad since its only a 7inch screen. Movies look really nice considering. Eventually I'm going to work on putting another screen in the car and taking care of the video issue.
