Looks really good Mike. You plan to clear coat it or leave it with the flat look.

Thanks It does have clear on it, several light coats. The effect is gloss near the middle and tapers to satin to the sides.

They're Nismo A34's (i.e. the never launched Nismo line for the A34 Maxima)

One is VHT NiteShades and the other is just leftover Duplicolor high-temp clear from when i did the calipers.

Thanks. I'm itching to follow-up with matching headlamps, but with my luck those lamps will end up being replaced again after a year or so either from hairline cracks or some kind of accident.

On a different note, i think i figured out the lighting. Will try to update with a new photo soon. It's just so difficult to catch it. Under garage lights, head-on it looks dark, up-close from the top it's dark-chrome-like, at an angle it's dark metallic, etc.

Do you think that paint you used would fill in or help mask small chips in the grille finish?

BTW, what % is your tint?

Did you use regular VHT Nite Shades? The stuff to tint your headlights/taillights?

I've got a PG and am thinking about trying the same thing.
