Rattling front passenger seat

I've had this problem of front passenger seat rattling/vibration for few weeks, did my search on this forum (and others) and found that many had similar problems.

Some stated that this vibration/rattle went away if they positioned the seats at certain angle, which didn't work for me.

Others said that they took it to the dealer and was told "it's normal for the seat to vibrate a little while driving". (Although I'm not sure how much ratting/vibration this person was experiencing)

I brought it in to my dealer and had it inspected.
here's the result:

They found a coin stuck in the seat (not sure exactly where), which probably got jammed as the seats were moved front/back. The coin was stuck between the track, causing the seats to vibrate/rattle.

So.... for those who were told "it's normal", it's not. Change may fallen out of your passenger's pocket and got stuck in the seat, causing this irking rattling noise.

Thanks for sharing!

A few other things to note, as they were the cause for my issues:

- Not fully retracted, or a tangled passenger seat-belt. The buckle would occasionally rattle against whatever it was hitting. Make sure it's flat and fully retracted.

- Squeaking on passenger or driver side, mostly by the console is from the seatbelt receptacle (or whatever its called) needing oil or grease on its pivot point.

- Squeaking on driver side, it's the belt rubbing against the leather or getting caught between the seat back and bottom. Moving it around, or the seat, solves this one.

- The space between seat backs and seat bottoms, after a while leather dries up, so the rubbing squeaks or creaks. Make sure you dress the leather and do maintenance on them on a frequent basis.
