Warrenty
Warranty
My warranty on my car is almost up so I made an appointment to take it in and have some warranty work done. I am having the door panels replaced because they are all scratched up... My question was, what other things could/should I ask them to fix or do? Im not sure what all the warranty covers. If there is anything that I should ask them to do just let me know! My car is 3yo now.

^^ somehow I knew that was coming.
Just have a look here and see what sparks some potential issues you think may apply to your G.

I doubt they would do anything about that issue... too expensive for them to want to. Trust me I tried but not because of the wear, mainly because of the passenger side rattling when nobody is present.
mainly the steering wheel if it has scratches and the door panel's... you might also want to check out the cluster behind the steering wheel on the sides (if warped). If your rotors cause your steering wheel to shake when braking at any speed have them resurface the rotors and they should put new brake pads on for you (no charge).
about it.

That is good to know. also check all your rubbers on the car. You might be able to get some of those replaced as well.

I don't see how resurfacing rotors and new brake pads would (or should) be covered under the factory warranty. That is absolutely a wear-and-tear item.
I had my 07x rotors resurfaced, the judder symptoms returned a year later and the dealer (via Infiniti TSB) replaced the rotors, pads and installed splash shields and it never cost me a dime.
Many here have had it done and I suspect hundreds of Infiniti customers, globaly, or there wouldn't be a TSB for the problem.
That seems strange. My car was just at the dealership and they actually told me that I needed new brakes/ resurfaced rotors... I asked if that's covered under warranty and was told NO. Damn dealerships.

(Basically, it's cheaper than a recall since it somewhat depends on how you drive as to whether or not it will occur; so it's best for them to just do it on a case by case basis. The magic trigger symptom seems to be the shaking steering wheel.)
Really? I think you can purchase an extended warranty at any point...Im sure as long as it doesn't have a pre existing condition...
