Remove Cluster Lid 2008 G35 Sedan?

I need to know how to remove the Cluster Lid on a 2008 G35 Sedan. I have removed the plastic cover and two screws located below the steering wheel as detailed on Infinitihelp but I still can't remove the cluster lid. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

I don't really have a choice. I need to have it replaced.

Bring it to a dealer man, I can just see many problems arising from this.

Remind me is that the price above the steering wheel that is known for being "warped" as the dealer says

I have replaced probably a hundred of these things and if you haven't ever removed it you will probably cuss a little bit. It's tricky to get it off without removing the steering wheel especially with paddle shifters on the sport models. I would suggest taking it to the dealer they will probably charge around 2 hrs.labor to do it if I had to guess. All of the ones I've replaced have been under warranty.

Yeah def not for the faint hearted, pretty consumed...I've had steering wheel off several times and I don't see how you would get the lid off without removing it

Column has to be lowered down as far as it will go and cluster lid assy. has to be rolled to the right around the column. It can be done with patience to keep from scratching top of steering wheel but easier if wheel is removed for sure.
