I want to swap the AT shift plate in my 2007 G35x sedan to a MT OEM shift plate. Does anyone know how easy this is and where to get the MT Shift plate.

Thanks

I like the cleaner look of the MT. I don't see any need for the AT shift indicator. I like driving an AT, but like the look of a MT

You would have to change out the entire lower center console area for it to look goo and not worth the $$... just buy a shift boot from Locksmith like many have and get the M45 shift **** and it would hid the shifter plate with a nice leather boot and not look like an AT.

I did buy a new boot from Locksmith, however it didn't come with any way to attach it, no holes to hold it into place. Any help and suggestion is appreciated.

DIY if you want to replace with stock style. Else you can just remove the and tuck in the boot around the plate, IF its not big enough im sure locksmith can help you out some with a bigger one that can easily tuck around the entire shifter plate, a couple ppl here have done that.

Locksmith is very helpful. I was just not sure how to attach it around the shift plate and was worried just tucking it in would eventually come loose.
