I've got the Escort ZR 4s. According to the Guys of Lidar test they aren't the best, but the price is right and knock on wood they are batting 1000 for me.

Car Toys is full of it. Read the Escort manual online if you want to confirm.

What kind of radar do you have? On the V1 you can turn laser off. its worthless anyway.

Mishmosh the shifters need a DIRECT HIT to go off. The V1 is much more sensitive. That's why I was hoping somebody had tested them.

Note how long it takes him to get a direct hit.

GREENLAWN...we spoke about different detectors and when I had the loaner 2011 G25 and G37 with ICC my escort redline never went off on laser during use. Only time it would go off is when I would remove it from the mount and place it in the glove box. Some how like half way through storing it the radar laser would always go off. During use it was 100% functional and really good range of detection.
