Indeed it is intended to do that. One thing that I would like to know, and please let me know, why debadge? Thanx

It's just a matter of taste. For some it cleans up the rear end. It really depends on the car though. On the V35 coupe it looks amazing!

There are no holes on the trunk for the emblem you can easily remove it.

I think your friends are mistaken or are thinking of the 1st gens.

^ what they said, no holes behind the emblem, you can take it off but i say leave it there and take of the 'g35' instead otherwise it will look awkward imo.

What did you use to take the glue off im think on using goo gone, but dont know how safe it is.....

I guess it is a personal choice....
RickBlkG I used goo gone on my G when I was taking off the CARMAX sticker...It did NOT damage the paint at all. Just make sure to use a terry cloth or something that will NOT scratch your car...
Once the sticker was off I washed where it was with soap and water. Just because I didn't want to leave any goo gone residue.

^^ WD-40 will also work. Just clean it off well and apply some sealant/wax when you're all done.

All the emblems come off. Since I did this, I put the G35 emblem back on....Originally Posted by elnad

Props to you for getting on it and ripping those letters off! Personally, I think on the V36 it looks much better with the sweet I N F I N I T I letters but of course that's just taste. Nice car!

Those letters are very sharp, always get in the when washing, (i.e. snagged) and its much easier to clean the car. Whether its with polish, or more frequently wax without tapping. But yes thats just me.Originally Posted by Abell255
