Not bad at all. It is abit louder then stock, but nothing you would be annoyed with. I never tested the noise without the Y pipe, but with the HFC and Y pipe its not bad at all. Im sure with test pipes it would be loud.

Interesting you say that ... With the Berk tp's I notice it has become louder but in a good way... I just recorded a short clip of what it sounds like now and boy is it a nice growl. Next week ypipe we'll see what the turnout will be.

... no I got curious about how mine will sound with the addition of the ypipe to the tp's I already have. It already has become a little louder and sounds perfect but I'm sure the y will give it a little more character (deepness). I do have one question about your y pipe installation... were any of the screws welded in on one side and not on the other? referring to the side that is facing the mufflers

You referring the the aftermarket Y pipe? If so no not welded on, it comes with bolts, washers, and nuts to install it.

NOTE: i do have some small raspy noise. doing some ready that's normal when running HFC and Y pipe? Do you have any noise like that now?

I see... yes I do have a little rasp at WOT with the test pipes but nothing annoying at all... personally I thought that it wasn't loud enough so I swapped cars with a friend to see how it sounded when he drove it. and it was a nice rumble but very similar to a stock g35 coupe and louder on WOT especially at higher rpm's...

So the drone doesnt increase that much with these HFCs? Because I dont want the drone to get to the point where I start getting headaches. By the way, im running invidia Gemini exhaust, and there is no drone; it is like stock exhaust, but with hp gains. I know this is an old post, but I would appreciate it, thanks
