swapping my pipes n mufflers

Ever since I got the g sedan I've always wanted to add a little sound to it. I went to this muffler shop and he quoted me $430 for everything. I'm going to keep the stock cats due to emmisions in CA and changing all the pipes to 2.5 inches with magnaflow mufflers. I'll post up pics and videos soon.

just got back from the shop and the guy at the muffler shop told me to go with the 2.25 inches pipes instead of 2.5 inches cause he said i would lose power. does anybody know if going 2.5 gain or loses power?

Sounds nice! Not sure about the whole pipe size deal. You may lose a tiny bit of torque on a 2.5 inch pipe but you should pick up a lil more up top HP wise. I second the video of driving around with your cam inside so we can hear it.
