08 Padel Shifter Install Troubleshooting

So i installed my padel shifters myself and when i went for the test drive my steering wheel was out of alignment with the vehicle. I go over the install again and re-align the steering wheel to the wheels which is now pretty close. So i was wondering does this take the whole car out of alignment or should i be alright? Infiniti wants $140 to put it on the machine but too me the car just drifts very little to the left. What do you think?

It's just the steering wheel...Your suspension alignment is not effected by this.

edit:
If its drifting a little left you should get the alignment checked anyway..it shouldn't do that on most roads.

I didnt have this problem when i installed mine. It has to be your steering wheel.

Agreed with what others have said; if the wheel isn't straight when you're driving straight, then it's just that you put the wheel back in the wrong position and need to re-position it, BUT if the car just isn't tracking straight (irrespective of the steering wheel position) then that is totally separate from any issue you caused by the R&R of the steering wheel; you'd need to look at all the usual suspects for not tracking straight (alignment, wheel/tire damage, tire pressure, brake/bearing issues, etc.).
