thanks, i might go to a mechanic and see if they can do anything about the clutch travel. i wonder if dealer would do that under warranty?

Dealer won't do anything, as that goofy travel is how it's 'supposed' to be stock. I don't think they'd pay for mods you want to do. Look at the clutch fix mod on the DIY forums, there are 2 mods there with decent solutions to help.
