i finally made the move to an iphone. love the fact i can hook my phone into the ipod wire and listen to pandora. however is there a longer wire? i want to run it to a cell holder next to the center console?

that ipod extension cable dont work for ****. What I did for my 08 was got a rca cable and connected the 3.5mm audio cable soldered it up and it worked like a charm. it burned out a couple weeks later.

heres the the thing i did after
i got the shorted RCA cable i could find, then got an adapter to run the RCA cable to the 3.5mm audio cable from radio shack and the whole thing cost less than $15. if you want a pic I can provide one

 

u can buy this piece that goes between the cable and the docking jack which i believe charges the phone
