The reason I am New/Old G35 owner; about 7 month ago I traded in my beloved Midnight Blue 04 G35 2 door 6mt w/95K for a brand new 2011 VW Jetta. To this day I don’t know what devil possessed me to buy a Jetta. It had a new car bumper to bumper warranty that did not cover anything unless VW had Technical Service Bulletin that addresses a particular problem. During 7 month of ownership Jetta was at a steelership more than my G been in 5 year. At another dealership there was a 2007 G35S sedan 6MT /Navi Black on Black with only 31000 miles on it that I was EYEing for 2 and a half month. Last week I became a G35 owner again by trading in my VW for a G35S.
1. G still has about 3 weeks of bumper to bumper warranty from Infiniti. Is there something that needs to be addressed before warranty runs out? (Burning oil 05-06) (Leaking valve cover gasket 03-04)…
2. Has anybody had or heard of Zurich Comprehensive Extended warranty (Universal Casualty Company)? Is it worth it?
Dang you story was just like mine. I had an 04 G35 Sedan in Carribean Blue, Went to an 2008 VW Jetta GLI and now have an 08 G35 Journey...lol Oh yeah to add, The first 12 weeks of owning the VW I was in the dealership 8 of them, no kidding either!

G = love. Thats how i see it. I hope this one will be as reliable as my 04 G was, oil and tire changes and thats about it. The only thing with this G that feels strange is clutch, which drives me nuts. My old G when it was ideling throw out bearing would make chattering sound this one makes the same sound when i press clutch and shift gears while driving. Doesn't make any sounds when standing still. Has anyone ran into this?
