Stillen Gen 3 tip
I recently took a look under the hood and realized how badly I needed to get around to skicking that peice of rubber under the drivers side upper pipe so that it eliminates the annoying vibration noises upon take off... Then I went ahead and took a look at the lower tubes on both sides. I noticed that when going through the air ducts the tubes sit on some part of the car that will cause vibration and eventually eat a hole through the tube... Maybe this is just my case... I hope this helps/prevents any issues for you guys that have the gen 3.
BTW, I basically got a foamy type of material and just slipped them in under the tube for a tight fit. I've checked a few times after doing this and noticed that the foam stays in the same position.
Enjoy!

I had the similar problem with my Gen3 and was thinking about doing the same solution you did. However in my paranoid mind, that foam wouldn't look clean in there. So I took my intake apart and the tube connected to the throttle intake, I just jammed it in there and just tightened it really hard. Same for the other tube in the middle. Problem solved :-D
