Crap.
Crap.
I was traveling from Oakland to Stockton, Ca, going 75mph when I started to mess with my GPS for gas. I looked up and saw a white 4 legged thing that walked like a cat but was as big as a dog about 20 feet from me, "Oh ****"
Yup, I hit it. It sounded like a rock hitting my bumper and my tires rolling over it and I just kept going to the next gas station to find this.

Now I need a newly painted bumper and a lip....hehe.

Well, if the tires ran over the thing, while stop to get out? It's died on impact and the tires made sure of that. I hope you cleaned up the blood on your car. Hope you get it fixed soon.
No blood on my car and I didn't stop because it was dark and I wasn't about to run onto the freeway to look at a dead carcass. I hit that thing HARD. I checked at the nearest gas station though.

Eh, OEM. I do want a new lip to go with it but I'd be spending about a grand for all of that. I might just wait until spring time anyways...i dont know.
Well you did the right thing. If you tried to avoid it things could have ended worst. I did the same thing in SD when i was driving (not my car but the military van) and i kept going and killed bugs bunny. He jumped in front of me and i saw him and killed it and woke everyone up in the van. It was a loud bang going 70mph.
