As many of you know I've been on the forums for sometime and I finally am stumped and hope someone has/had the same issue or something ideas. I did my searches and looked through thread with no luck.

My issues:

When driving the station will change and change back or slightly change (for example 106.7 will go to 106.9 then back to 106.7 within a second OR 106.7 will go to 106.9 and stay

The other is if I am listening to music through my flash drive, I will be on song 126 then it will go to song 1... if will keep playing to about song 3 then go back to one

I'm seriously at a lost, I have not change, added, altered anything electrical in YEARS! Just started about 3 weeks ago.

ANY IDEAS OR FEEDBACK OF SIMILAR SITUATIONS WOULD BE MUST APPRECIATED. I have 85K miles currently with no warranty.

 

what yr is your car? I had some weird issues with mine awhile ago, took it to the dealer and they had an upgrade they did for free. You could try that. I have on 08 journey.

 

Whew, that's a strange one alright. Never seen or heard anything like it, but if I had to make a guess, I'd say it sounds like either the head unit is glitching out or possibly getting (or thinks it's getting) erroneous signals from the steering wheel controls.

 

Trav, mine did that a while ago. I thought I was imagining things, as it had static, then sounded fine, then static, then fine, etc. I was like WTF, until I actually saw it change freqs on the display.

Went away though, and hasn't done it for a while.

I HOPE MINE DOES!!! Drives me nuts! Atleast it is cold enough I can just roll down the windows and listen to the engine
