Freon Leaking??

Today, when I got back home from school (30 minute drive on freeway) I noticed on the driveway a little bit of white smoke so I freaked out and opened the hood but there was no more white smoke. Instead, there was a smell (like freon??) and when I turned off the vehicle there was a hissing sound at the front of the bumper right behind the grill and I put my hand there and it was blowing against my hand. There was an intense amount of smell and I had to cover my mouth since I was afraid to inhale it. I think its freon but I'm not sure. You guys have any idea what happened???

^^ Yep, seems like it would have to be either that or coolant steaming out (though that's more of a longshot)

Yeah, its definitely freon. I checked by turning on the a/c to the coldest setting and its hot. Its actually still leaking and I can't even stay around it long enough to see where its coming from because its leaking so much; the smell is so intense. I'll have to take it tomorrow to get something done with it at the dealership under extended warranty. I'm actually having a hard time to breathe from the first time I went to check what it was but slowly getting better; **** is no joke.

Just wondering how the hell that happened.

Yeah, I checked. It was the condensor; when I hit that man bear pig thing on the freeway last week. I guess yesturday it decided to bust open or something. New bumper and new a/c condensor now. Sigh.
