I never said the car couldn't handle it. My point is, at topspeed (155 or whatever it is) the car won't feel the same as 60MPH, so I just wanted to know the difference. I went 130 in an 04 MT sedan and it felt stable but you knew from feel alone that it wasn't 70mph

Go to a track and push your G. Even when i drive 90 on the freeway its still smooth as if i was going 65, just worst gas milage and flying through traffic. If i can get to a track, i will push mycar and tell you that it will handel smoothly

G35S AT top speed is 137MPH. You can try that in 4th.
Mine has BullyDog and I raise the limiter.
Believe me that after 140 there is a lot of wind, you need suspension and body kit.

Finally someone who answered my question! I wonder why they would lower the top speed in the V36 when all V35 sedans did 150+???

THANK YOU!!! I didn't believe for one sec peoples claim of it feeling stable. It's not a sport car and not very low to the ground either. This little thing called wind gets under the car and makes things feel not so good. The car's ability to actually do the claimed 155 was never in doubt.

i had this discussion back in 2007 but it has been since deleted.
right when i got my 07g35x. my friend had a 07 g35 AT.

in short i have contacted many infiniti dealerships and even infiniti hq and asked them the same question you are asking now. what is the top speed for 07 g35? and i was able to get no answer.

i also have videos of different 07 g35's stock going different top speeds. so which made and makes no sense.

FWIW, i got it to just under 140 at the track before having to slow down for the next turn and it felt plenty stable to me. Although with all the talk about speedo inaccuracy at higher speeds i'm not sure if the actual speed is correct. I've only managed to confirm speedo accuracy up to 80mph on highways.

Try 168 MPH, for the 07 G35S with all of the mods and reflash. Oh, and yes it is very stable at that speed and of course all of it was done on a track. I had to monitor the speed using my Passport
9500ix.

I've seen 140+, of course on a track, and it didn't feel unstable. No heavy vibrations in the steering wheel or anything I would've expected, things just go by a lot faster - very impressive IMO.

Well for my G, I hit 145MPH+ and still was climbing with ease! This was on a Closed Track.....I was running with a 07 7Series Bimmer Sedan, Started to pass it, then had to slow down for turn! Car was solid at this speed, But I do have Full Suspension and this was with my 20 Inch Rims on! Not sure how accurate the Speedo is, but car was still pullin real hard in 5th Gear!

If our cars can only do 137 from what your saying that means Acura Integra can out run our cars b/c my friend hit 150 in his car. It seems kind of lame if that is so.

Yeah I agree. Cars' top speed nowadays is no where near proportional to their hp, weight, torque etc. For example, the Audi A7 is limited to 130 mph. I mean cmon, this thing has 310 hp, 8 speed auto, at least let it do 155. (and it hits 130 in 5th gear!)
