I think they would be more effective if mounted to the roof of the car. try that and post some pics

"off roading" is the key here. Its bright, but i don't think its very practical for road use.

but if you have make compact front and back (red) fog light / DRL kit that looks good after installation, then we will talk again

It would be great also in dark neighborhoods that don't have street lamps as well.

not sure about the practicality of it, think it would annoy other drivers and possibly bring you more attentinon from the po po...but in it's own way it's kinda cool.

I love the idea for off-road truck use. Its bright and could be left on for extended periods of time without heavy battery draw. However on a car it looks pretty tacky. Sorry. Still I like the idea and I like the product when the application is right.

i like it BUT:
1) should definitely be hidden behind a grille or even better, behind some mesh to replace those faux vents on the journey bumper! then i would DEFINITELY want! (obviously not for normal road driving though)
and 2) it would be awesome for some kind of reverse lights! placement is only problem...

edit: i just checked ebay and much to my surprise DEAR MOTHER OF GOD THOSE ARE EXPENSIVE

Retrofit them into a license plate frame for reverse lights.
