Does anybody know how this member did his (I forgot his username on here)?

I'm guessing some variation of VHT + Masking, I'm not sure though. I love the look! Any tips would be appreciated.

This is mine. Water sanded, 2 coats of vht and a professionnal clear coat. As you can see it is not too dark and have oem look.

Borderline,
Those tails are sweet! And are those 18" coupe rims? I hardly see those on sedans.

Here are mine. I did three shades of VHT and then a clear layover to protect against the elements

I really think these overlays look out of place! Maybe because of the color of the car! Try some light Nite Shade of just the regular Bat GTR overlays!

I painted them with balck cherry paint and a couple of coats of gloss. I love it! Mine is probably as dark as it gets but enough light does pass through. Ive stopped a few times to ask the 5.0 what they thought and they said i should be good but there are some cops that could get ya if there having a bad day. I just told them it came like that when i bought the car used and would be switching out down the road when i had money. recommend just doing it

Bumping and old thread but this is VHT Nite-Shades correct? And borderline if you're still on here, did you take it to a paint shop for the clear coat or just use your own gun or can?
