R2C Intake VIBRATING/GRINDING on Hood Issue

Recently bought and received a set of r2c intake from another member here. Everything in good condition except the heatshield is a bit hard to get into place (the corners wont budge in). the sound occurred after installation. I started to notice a grinding/vibrating sound coming from the left side of the engine bay (postion yourself as in the driver seat) I got a little worried and thought maybe my tranny is grinding or going bad. The sound ONLY occurs in DRIVE at 1500rpm-2000rpm then disappears as I get the car in motion. When in park the grinding sound is not present. But when in drive and emergency brakes on, the sound occurs instantly at 1500rpm but then again disappears at 2000. I popped my hood open (didn't raise it open yet) the sound disappears. Close the hood... then the sound is present again. So my conclusion is that the heat shield is vibrating on the hood upholstery? But can anyone explain why only at 1500. I swear it does not happen at 1400.... but once at 1500 "errrrrrrr" sound appears. Even if the heat shield corner is completely pushed in (IF i could get it in) its only approx 1CM of extra clearance....
can anyone clarify to me IF this is infact the heatshield vibrating the hood?

I MADE SURE the stablizing bar is fully screwed in so I can't think of any other factors that would cause this grinding sound. Please help.

Video -> click (notice at 1500rpm it grinds)

I had that. Get some insulation foam from home depot and fit it where the heat shield shakes to absorb it. Simple

Thanks. It might not be the heat shield but I'll see if that works.

Is it easy to remove the heat shield temporarily. I'm sure it's just rubbing if it doesn't happen with the hood up. Also, I don't know about the R2C, but with the stillen, the pipe on the drivers side will rub against the body (under the pipe) if you don't pad it or have your pipe positioned just right. To me it sounds more like the pipe rather than some headshield rubbing.

ahh fixed it.... turns out it wasnt the heat shield. Decided to shake the intake to see if something was loose and turns out that the OEM screw that keeps the stabilizing bar to the oem bearing was colliding. The screw became too long since the R2C stabilizing bar is much thinner than the oem. swapped the screw and perfect now.
And to think I was going to bring it to a mechanic.. I wonder wtf they would've told me. Prob some dumba$s **** and charge be a few hundred for a screw....
