To everyone with upgraded +1 or +2 wheels...
This question more so applies to X drivers, but, has anyone with 18" or 19" has had to also upgrade their spare tire, just in case? I went from the stock 17's to Sport 18's, so, I'm just deciding if I should get a 5th wheel as a spare backup. This was just a +1 upgrade anyway, so it may not make much of a difference, but I want to make sure that, should I get a flat, the 17" spare does not interfere with the AWD system.
What about you guys with a +2, or higher, wheel upgrade?

You can make a 15inch wheel be the same height as a 20inch wheel. It's all about tire size. and a lot of people on here who have 19's and 20's have camber & rideheight and bbk clearance as more of an issue than having there spare tire be the same diameter.
Not an X driver, so that being said, don't waist your money on this. Spare is just something to drive to the nearest tire shop to get your tire fixed. The only reason to get a different spare is b/c you upgraded your brakes which you will need 18'. If your not going to do that, then don't waist your time or money on it.
Good points, I guess it's all about keeping with the same, or close to, the original diameter, regardless of wheel size. Love this forum!

heh any tire place says never to use that stuff, that's its evil and incredibly hard to clean out when they take the tire off
