Is this housing available seperately?

I think the part I need is # 16 or 17 in this diagram....but wanted to confirm.

http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/part...e=14&model=G35 Sedan&year=2008&graphicID=3841010&callout=16&catal ogid=2&displayCatalogid=0

Was driving down the highway and some **** lost a bundle of carpet squares...glanced off the corner of my bumper, but cracked the housing along with some paint damage.

Wanted to make sure I was ordering the right part before I callled tomorrow.

I can't get your link to go to the illustration, but looking at a 2008 front bumper there, it looks like 16 and 17 and 18 are distance sensor components (I'm assuming for ICC). Altogether, they must make up the total part, whereas I notice that #19 appears to be the entire sensor for FWD cars, but all in one piece. Regardless, the fact that they are all listed discretely means that they are available discretely.

On a side note . . . . HOLY CRAP DUDE, could you possibly have any more bad luck running into sh*t on the road!

Well let’s see....

Got transferred in Feb - good.

Maxima broken into in April - bad.

Maxima gets hail damage in tornado in May - bad.

Maxima gets totaled due to hail damage in late May - worse.

Roof back home gets totaled in hail damage in an unrelated storm right before closing - very very bad.

G35 is purchased in June - awesome.

Four days later G35 gets $4500 in hail damage in tornado - holy ****.

G spends four weeks in body shop due to lots of hail damage in the area - driving my truck sucks at 5K a month - really, really, really crappy.

Get G back - a week later I hit the small animal. Major suckage

Stupid ***** doesn't tie down his carpet on Friday - leads us to today's discussion.

So to answer your question...could I have more bad luck? While past results do not guarantee future performance, I would say yes - I could have more bad luck. I would like to think that it’s all behind me though.

Unfortunately I'm too stupid to read the schematic properly. I THINK that its part number 62035, but would need your expertise to confirm before I buy it. If you wouldn't mind shooting me an email or giving me a call to confirm, I'd certainly appreciate it. I can send you more pix tonight if needed. Thanks!

Reading this just made me realize that I have had an absolutely fantastic year of good fortune with my car, relatively speaking.

Here's to wishing you better luck next year!
