Hmm... That's interesting. Was the surface cleaned well beforehand? My rear window spoiler has never come off in the years I've had it and all I used was 3M double sided tape haha.

wth is 25 peices of tape used? tape is stronger in long single strips. make sure the entire area that makes contact with the glass has tape

I forgot to add that I would also suggest using single strips.

Hmmm...ok, maybe that is the issue. Instead of using two LONG strips of tape that run across the entire top and bottom, I cut the tape into 20+ pieces and placed them vertically across the back side.

My windows were clean and I even heated up the tape and window with a hair dryer before applying.

I will buy another roll and try again. Should I remove the 20+ pieces or just leave on for "more" adhesive contacting the window?

Remove the existing tape and start over.

I'm using 2 long strips of double sided tape, and my roof spoiler in there solid. The trick is this, before installing the spoiler, clean the surface with alcohol, AND use something called an "Adhesion Promoter" which is a clear liquid that will bind to the tape. If you're using 3M tape, check their site for adhesion promoter and try it. Give it a shot...
