I have a Bullydog GT Tuner that also serves as a digital gauge display for virtually everything. I have the windshield mount right next to the A-pillar and it works great. Bullydog also makes a "Watchdog" that is a similar unit that only provides the gauge functionality and is considerably cheaper than the GT programmer. These units also can read DTC's. Say what you want about the Bullydog's ability to add power, but I find it is worth the $ for the use of live engine data.
