Hello all - first time poster and recently acquired G35x owner.

My good mate recently got deployed for active duty and with his wife expecting, decided to sell his 2007 G35x Sedan to me for a relatively cheap price.

The car is the 'basic' or non-nav model and contains 76k miles. Besides a minor scratch on the bumper and interior paint chips, it's in pretty mint condition. I've surfed the forums but have a few questions related to my specific condition...

1. The car was purchased with an 'extended warranty' from the used car dealership. Note: this wasn't an Infinite dealership. His wife, who I picked up the car from, believed it covered extended parts to 125k. Is anyone aware of a warranty such as this? Are these good at certified dealerships? If so, what the hell does it actually cover?

2. With 75k miles already, what type of maintenance should I actually be alert for? I know a dealership is going to bring something new every 5k, is this car notorious from anything in the 75 - 100k range?

3. Does the non-nav model of the G35x come with speed sensitive wipers?

4. After market parts recommended? Best bang for my buck? I've reviewed a few of the exhaust, very nice but trying to justify the money.

5. I've seemed to have issues with the automatic headlights function. There are rainy, foggy, and early morning times when I'll be the only car without my lights on. Is there by chance a time / sensitivity setting I'm missing?

The car didn't come with any winter tires and I was somewhat surprised how easily it drifted in the snow even with AWD. I'll wait until next year to try out winter tires as my Silverado has no problemo
