Well i'm losing coolant from the overflow tank because it's cracked and needs to be repaired again so when the radiator inventory expands I inevitably lose a little.

I did jack the car up and bleed it although I may invest in a lisle funnel anyway. I don't believe this is trapped air because the heat will work like a champ for the first 10-15 minutes of my ride then begin to taper off to a sad lukewarm state. It's not the typical "my car is hot when I am moving and cold when I stop" issue.
