hi guys so some how my infiniti emblem fell off my engine cover. i found it laying around in the engine bay, and i glued it back on, and the glue sucked and now its gone.

anyway anyone know if i can buy the separate emblem from the engine cover?

i searched around but couldn't find anything. i dont want to buy a oem cover. might as well get a cf one. but i just want the emblem instead.

I have one for sell if you like. But this time you should clean the area and use double side tape or some type od 3m tape that can take the heat. I will let it go for 30 ship. It came off a 2008 sedan. If you like just pm me your address and number. Its just quicker to talk on the phone

 

Yea I would buy bluedevils above me, I had the same thing happen to me and NO ONE sells it.

It is not sold separately by Infiniti at all

I ended up buying a used engine cover on ebay for $70 just for the emblem. Now I have an engine cover in my storage room with no emblem available if someone wants it lol.

 

^ you could just measure the size of where the emblem fits and buy the ones on ebay for ~$15 shipped if you want to save some money, they are obviously not that high quality but there is no way to tell the difference in looks, iv bought a couple for outside the car and they are as good as original lookwise but a bit of an inferior light ABS plastic. Else blue's offer is a fair one if you want original emblem that you'd know would fit for sure.

I tried getting an emblem off ebay first but they only have trunk and/or grill emblems which are too large. The engine emblem is just a tad smaller than the trunk...about 3/4 of an inch or so. Wouldn't fit properly so after days of trying to find alternatives I finally gave up.

At this point I'll consider your $30 offer lol, my main thing is I have to find a way to properly wrap and package this up. It is an odd shape and fear the shipping may be quite high die to it's shape. I'll let you know.

 

got the same issue... dealer says the cover has to be replaced. I saw some selling their engine covers on ebay between 40-70. I may just black out the whole thing one day.

 

Mine is in great condition if anyone wants to buy it.
