Engine idle sound

Hey guys,
I noticed this sound the other day when I was standing next to the car... So i decided to pop the hood and take a video. I don't think it's anything major but was curious to see what you guys might think. All maintenance is on time.

Lol don't tell me that without an explanation! 76k ... I'll tell you though it doesn't sound like this all the time.
Everything has been on time as far as the maintennce and have had it in the dealer multiple times and they never inspected anything wrong.

lol sorry to alarm you. I do have some strange noise (not the same as yours) after or during the rain. Even when i turn on the heat, it smells a little funny too. Maybe it could be low transmission fluid, when was the last time you checked all fluids?

It sounds just like mine did when the a/c compressor bearing wet out. I was a little scare at first but it was replaced under warranty and it was all good from there

Have you check w/ the dealer to see what the problem is? It would be nice if you were still under warranty

Unfortunately my warrenty passed by months ago. I recently had the drive belt replaced at the dealer but dont think it's that. It may not even be anything at the moment. I hear it mainly from the drivers side, only when I check under the hood. Otherwise it's not noticeable inside or standing beside the car. I hear a little bit of a hissing sound from the passenger side when listening really closely but at that point I feel like I'm being way too detailed. I'm due for an oil change in a couple hundred miles and will see what they say about it. Other then this everything functions and starts up really well and alive. Will check the fluids this weekend

no worries cars always run into some issues... The last I changed every fluid point (diff, tranny, etc was at 65ish. It has to do alot with climate primarily IMO

Thx for the info, in case it is that issue I wonder what the cost/process of installation is. Surely I would have a good shop/dealer take care of it.

Mine makes a wierd noise from the driver side too- dealer said it was normal-

The service manager said you would be suprised at how horrible these engines sound under the hood- he said they do a good job filtering only the good sounds into the cabin

Last night I heard the sound this time from inside the car with 4 others running their mouths too. The temp last night did get down to the high 30's so I wonder if that had anything to do with it. Saw a pretty bad spinout into the trees and what do you know it was a g too...
