Left rear break... gone!
#17
Got a call from the Service Manager and he said it's a seized caliper. So the rotor, brake pads, caliper, and whatever other applicable misc parts need to be replaced.
He said that he was able to get Nissan to pay for the parts (Supposedly about $500-$600 in parts), but I will have to front the labor costs.
I guess it's better than me having to pay for the entire thing.

Again, the terms "stuck" and "seized" are somewhat generic. Did they say specifically WHAT part was seized? and WHY?

I got the bill yesterday and there were over a 1/2 dozen parts that the company paid for. They didn't have prices next to them on the invoice so I'm not sure of their actual cost. In addition to the L/R work, they also resurfaced the R/R rotor and replaced the R/R pads.
Total was $275 for labor.
