Camber Kits + alignment with Eibach HELP!

Hey guys, so as i was reading through the forum i decided to go with the Eibach pro kit drop on my 2007 G35 sedan. reason for going with these was because it looked like not much was needed to lower it (ie upper and lower control arms to adjust the camber) however, i took it to the shop today and was told i need to get some adjustable upper and lower control arms along with the possibility of a rear camber bolt.

Any suggestions on what i actually really need? this is my specs as of right now. no modifications have been done. also they ran the specs with the OEM set up of 18 in wheels. anyone have specs for 19s?

my current set up is 245/35/19 in the front and 275/30/19 in the rear.

its really the toe that you have to worry about because thats what is going to eat up your tires

but if you want a camber kit with toe bolts

look into SPC camber kit they have it listed on their site and some vendors carry it here too.

I wouldn't worry about the camber in the front. Our front tires don't wear very quickly so just have them get the toe to zero. I'd just get the Eibach rear camber kit (same as the SPC but less expensive) which will come with the toe bolts if they're needed. I was able to get my toe specs in the rear almost to zero with the Pro-Kit with the OEM toe adjustment. Our cars eat the rear tires quicker than the front so this is where I'd focus my $$$ to save $$$.

You may just need the SPC/Eibach toe bolt for the rear. I'm lowered a bit more than Eibach so I got the F&R SPC arms and toe bolt but many w/ Eibachs get away w/ just the toe bolt kit. You can DIY w/ a dremel tool and about an hour grinding and installing, not too bad if you have the tools IME.

What do you need to use up front to just get the toe to 0?

Just get the toe back in spec, with proper rotations you will be okay on tire wear.

No need to zero out on toe completely either, but get it within spec.

I am on H&R springs, lower than Eibach, and was able to get the toe into spec without having to install the toe bolt.

I have the SPC kit front and rear.

^ I wonder if they can bring you back to your original in-spec toe of 0.10, that's closer to nominal. 0.13 is already on the high-side and borderline out-of-spec.

It's fine as it is, probably just less wear if they brought it down a little.

I'm not too sure. I am pulling a bit to the right, so I will be taking it back in soon. I'll see if they can get the camber closer.

I know I am in spec on the rear toe, I am just hoping it is close enough to spec to not cause issues.

Yep, you're within spec. The range is 0 to 14, so you're close.

The caster is curious though, from the FSM your numbers are well within spec, but their sheet says otherwise.

Are you sure you're looking at the right FSM? Mine shows a caster of 7.33 - 8.83 for 19" wheels.

2007 (2nd gen) FSM only shows 17s and 18s. You must have a revised FSM, although i wonder why they'd show settings for 19's when sedan's never came with those sizes from the factory.

VERY good point. I will now start using the sedan FSM instead of the coupe...

How many run Eibachs without any camber or toe adjustment kits??
