lol chill guys this isnt about which car is more reilable or better
i still love the G no doubt and neither cars have experienced any kinds of trouble to my knowledge and to be honest i ll probably be more inclined to drive the 335i a little more conservatively than my G.
for the price that hes willing to sell it for it would be dumb for me to pass up and like many have mentioned i have even considered selling it and looking for something else, but after driving a G the choices are pretty slim maybe a S4? most likely something faster and more fun to drive. :P

Take and turn
New G owner. Did tons of research (9 months, many hours a week) before I bought my 08 auto. I am sure some have a had a bad experience but that is def a minority. They are almost bullet proof. Love the looks of BMW, a beautiful car with some great performance (esp 335), but they are loaded with issues. WAY too good of a deal to pass up. Flip and get the parents the car of their choice and stay with the G.
Good luck with ehatever direction you choose.

I have a co-worker who had a ton of issues with a brand new 335 and finally got out of it through the lemon law.
I have another friend who's on his third BMW... He's in sales, drives a ton and always puts 300k plus with zero issues.
Who knows... I just know I have **** luck and cannot take the chance.

Initially they extended the warranty, they told me all about it when i went with a relative to get a 535i (im family car geek) and I asked them about the issue. Later, they issued a recall and replaced his fuel pump and injectors, they only did so after consumer reports and ABC news brought negative press to the issue.
